Top Puzzle Games on iOS in Germany: Q2 2025 Performance

In the second quarter of 2025, the iOS puzzle game market in Germany witnessed varied performances among the top five apps. According to Sensor Tower data, these games showed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

Block Blast！ saw a fluctuating download pattern, peaking at around 39.7K downloads in early May, before dropping to 36.4K by the end of June. Despite this, the app maintained a strong weekly active user base, although it experienced a decline from 1.55M to approximately 1.12M throughout the quarter.

Color Block Jam from Rollic Games showcased stable revenue figures, with a notable peak of $67.8K in late May. However, downloads decreased steadily, from 30.7K at the start of April to 16K by the end of June. Active users remained robust, increasing from 156K to just over 203K during the quarter.

Magic Sort! exhibited significant growth in both downloads and active users mid-quarter, reaching 51.1K downloads in mid-May. Revenue also showed a positive trend, peaking at $26K in late May. Active users rose to 95.3K in early June before tapering off to 79.5K by the quarter's end.

Screwdom achieved a substantial increase in revenue, reaching a high of $103.9K in late May. Downloads also saw a boost, hitting 23.7K in mid-May, while active users increased from 88.9K to 94.5K by the end of May, before slightly declining to 85.7K in June.

Finally, GeoGuessr experienced a decline in downloads over the quarter, from 19K to 9.4K. Revenue and active users followed a similar downward trend, with revenue peaking at $14.5K in early April but decreasing to $8.5K by the end of June. Active users decreased from 168K to 89.3K.
